UniBlue PowerSuite 2010 is a three part application designed to optimize and speed up your PC. It features a registry cleaner, Speed up my PC app and a driver scanner.
This version of UniBlue PowerSuite has been improved, it's much smaller, and has a more attractive user interface. You can now scan your PC for problems from the UniBlue PowerSuite frontal, without opening the individual apps.
UniBlue PowerSuite's main hub is neatly designed, with three main tabs, giving you a general overview, a scheduler and settings. It's clean and clear, although some people may miss the traditional Microsoft-style interface with basic File, Edit, View, etc. controls.
Setting up scheduled system scans in UniBlue PowerSuite is really easy, and the scans seem to be efficient and fast. Once a scan has been performed, you can fix found problems by opening the apps. It's possible to open them at the same time, but this may slow down your PC if there are lots of problems.
UniBlue PowerSuite's DriverScanner is a good way to keep your drivers up-to-date, although the same function exists in the Control Panel of Windows. SpeedUpMyPC offers you lots of ways to free up space and memory by removing unecessary features from your system. Unfortunately these are not well explained for beginners, and its not a good idea to make changes to your system without understanding what you're doing.
PowerSuite is well designed, but it needs better and fuller explanation of what it can remove, to make users feel secure. The RegistryBooster works quickly, and has a restore button in case things go wrong, Registry cleaners in general are also unproven to speed up computers.
